Each property I work with is unique—designed for different guests and needs—but they all share one thing in common: outstanding hospitality, and I am very proud to include all of them in my portfolio!

My journey into hospitality began out of necessity. To keep our dream of owning a holiday home alive, the property needed to sustain itself financially. What started as a practical decision soon revealed itself as something much more—an unexpected calling.
I still remember the exact day: 29 November 2016. Together with my dad, I went to see a house for sale in Meladeia, a tiny village of just 20 people near his birthplace. The moment I saw it, I fell in love. Meladeia already held a special place in my heart—it’s close to Steni, the village where I spent carefree summers with my yiayia (grandmother). That connection made it feel like destiny.
Since then, welcoming guests into our home has been an incredibly rewarding experience. What began as necessity has become passion, and now, a purpose I fully embrace.
Through consistent effort in marketing, social media, and word-of-mouth, I’ve worked to build a lasting reputation for Ithaki House. Every post, every guest interaction, every recommendation has helped shape its identity. I feel deeply grateful to do what I love—and to receive such heartfelt responses in return.
In October 2022, I was introduced—through a mutual friend—to Christina, the passionate owner of HideAway. Tucked in the heart of the picturesque village of Lasa, her rustic home had already been transformed into a charming holiday retreat, but it needed the right visibility to truly shine.
Christina’s dream, however, faced obstacles. Limited English skills and technical challenges made marketing difficult, and an unfortunate partnership with an agro-tourism rental company led to financial loss and disappointment.
From the very beginning, Christina and I connected deeply. We shared not only the same values but also a genuine love for our properties and a shared commitment to delivering unforgettable hospitality.
As her co-host, I stepped in to support her fully—handling guest communications across all platforms, creating and managing her Facebook page (www.facebook.com/HideAwayLasa), designing her website (www.hideawaylasa.com), and managing her Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo listings. Importantly, around 70% of bookings now come directly, strengthening both brand presence and revenue.
My role extends beyond hosting into full-scale marketing and property management: promoting across media channels, coordinating bookings, and overseeing payments. The results speak for themselves—higher revenues, glowing 5-star guest reviews, and a stronger brand identity for HideAway.
In November 2024, a simple Facebook post led me to connect with Michalis & Sotiroula, the proud owners of Kasparis View Residence. Their stunning 5-bedroom luxury villa, accommodating up to 13 guests, sits on expansive grounds on the outskirts of Lefkara village. With space to host weddings, birthdays, hen and bachelor gatherings, and private parties of up to 200 guests, it offers both exclusivity and flexibility.
Together, we refined their pricing and booking policies, refreshed their logo to capture the villa’s unique charm, and redesigned their website to showcase its full potential. Today, Kasparis View Residence stands out as a sought-after retreat—an exciting addition to my portfolio of distinctive homes.
In October 2020, I had the pleasure of meeting Georgia, a homeowner with a breathtaking property in the charming village of Lofou. She dreamed of transforming her house into a short-term rental but faced the daunting challenge of renovation. Introduced through mutual friends, we immediately connected—and from that moment on, there was no looking back!
Together, we assembled a dedicated team and set out on a transformative journey. We carefully renovated the house, preserving its character and charm while tailoring every detail for holiday rentals. By identifying the ideal guest profile, implementing a smart pricing strategy, listing the property across multiple platforms, and creating her own website (www.mylofou.com), we built the foundations of success.
Today, Georgia is not only the proud owner of a stunning holiday home but also a confident, knowledgeable host. Her property—now known as myLofou—is a true testament to what vision, teamwork, and passion can achieve.
We’re excited to introduce Angie’s Pawsitive Project (launched May 2024)—an initiative inspired by our love for animals and supported by our wonderful guests. As pet owners and hosts of a dog-friendly holiday home, we’ve always been passionate about helping animals in need. With our guests’ input, we’ve found a way to extend that support.
Before check-out, we invite guests to leave any spare change in a donation box at our properties. Since coins can’t often be exchanged at banks, this simple idea turns pocket change into real help. Every euro collected goes directly to local animal shelters, and we share all donations on our page.
The project has grown quickly, with amazing partners joining us, including HideAway Holiday Home, MyLofou, Studio Figura Strovolos, and Ithaki House. Together, we’ve already raised over €500, supporting a variety of shelters and initiatives—providing food for dogs, care for cats in Steni, and aid shelters. All the support todate is published on the dedicated facebook page
We warmly welcome other organizations to join us in this effort. Your support helps us spread love and care—one paw at a time.
The We Love Steni Facebook page was originally created by my dear friend, Carrie King, whose love for this charming village has only grown over the 10 years she’s called Steni home. Wanting to capture its beauty and warmth, she created a space where anyone who shares a passion for Steni could connect, share, and celebrate what makes it so special.
Carrie invited me to join her in this effort, and together with Elias Lambides, we’ve formed our very own “Steni’s Angels” (yes—like Charlie’s Angels!). Our goal is simple: to bring the magic of Steni to life through local stories, village events, and the little details that make this place unique.
For me, it’s also personal. Steni is the village my dad loved so dearly, and keeping its spirit alive is something close to my heart. We hope everyone who visits We Love Steni feels the same warmth and passion that drew us here in the first place.
So whether you’re a local, a frequent visitor, or someone discovering Steni for the first time, we invite you to like our page, connect with us, and maybe even become an honorary Steni’s Angel yourself!
The Car Show Weekend is a collaborative effort aimed at creating memorable experiences and fostering community spirit. We are deeply grateful to the Paphos Classic Vehicle Club for their invaluable support and to Carrie King from Cyprus Escapes, whose enthusiasm and dedication have been essential in bringing this event to life.
Special thanks go to Petrolina for their generous financial support, which has been crucial for making this event possible. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Chryso Lefou and Stephen Haughan, who are contributing their time and expertise without compensation.
As a non-profit event, our focus is on creating a shared experience that reflects the same dedication and attention to detail that we apply to all our endeavors. Our goal is to ensure that the Car Show Weekend leaves a meaningful and lasting impression on everyone who attends.
